Workday Altitude 2023

Workday Altitude is Workday’s annual partner event. In 2023 Altitude was held in Las Vegas, at the ARIA Resort and Casino, with 4,000 attendees. I was the lead Designer for Altitude, creating the look and feel, art directing a photoshoot, strategically defining the signage plan, managing agency and vendor relationships, and leading all artwork/signage execution.

Look and Feel

This year’s theme was “It’s Our Day,” building off of our theme from SKO. It was all about celebrating where we were in the moment, a point in time, a dot on a line. To evolve the identity I created for SKO, I knew that I needed to focus more on the team created by Workday and our partners, and highlight that partnership as the way we move forward.

Rather than tell the story of one line, I developed this evolution around two lines coming together, creating a new path forward. Using color and photography, I highlighted that intersection, celebrating what happens when we come together with our partners.

Photoshoot

I conceptualized, and art directed a photoshop amongst Workmates (Workday employees) to use within the look and feel. Each photo featured 2 people- reinforcing the idea of “partnership.”

Onsite, Workmates were very excited to see themselves within the signage, and felt more connected to the event, and the messaging.

The Altitude Hub

The Hub was something new for Altitude this year. It was so successful at our SKO, that we decided to carry it over. The Altitude Hub was a place for people to engage in various organized meetups and conversations. There were “Coffee Talks",” “Braindates,” “Career Coaching,” a theater, as well as a Giving and Doing activation.

The Altitude Hub had it’s own subset of the branding. White backgrounds allowed the vibrancy of the room to shine, without competing with the graphics; and a colored bar on top reinforced differentiation between the different zones.
